Galgotias University is one of the leading private Universities in Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2011 in Gautam Buddh Nagar (Greater Noida), Uttar Pradesh. Smt Shakuntala Educational and Welfare Society sponsors the University.

It is recognised by the University Grants Commission and accredited with the NAAC A+ certificate for academic excellence.
