Amrapali Group of Institutes was established in 1999 in Haldwani (Nainital), Uttarakhand. The institution was established with the support of Modern Academy Society to provide excellent higher education in Haldwani and its periphery. Amrapali Group of Institutes is affiliated with Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Kumaun University, Uttarakhand Open University, and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education. The institution is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

The Amrapali Group of Institutes consists of four different institutes. These four institutes are mentioned as follows –

Amrapali Institute offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in many specializations. The popular specializations the institution offers are Commerce & Business Management, Computer Science & Applications, Education, Engineering, Hospitality Management, and Pharmacy Sciences. The five different faculties are responsible for the administration of all the courses. These faculties are –

Registration

Entrance Test

Amrapali Group of Institutes offers admission based on entrance tests and merit of 12th score. Candidates are preferred during admission if they have appeared in national and state-level entrance examinations. AGI merit-based scholarship is also offered based on the score obtained by the candidate in entrance examinations. The institution accepts entrance examinations like UKSEE, UBTER JEEP, JEE, CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, CUET, etc.

2. Defence Scholarship (Retired, Serving, and Martyred) – A concession of 10% on tuition fees for the first year to the wards of defence personnel (Retired, Serving, and Martyred) is granted.

3. Family Scholarship for Amrapali Group of Institutes Staff – The family members of Amrapali Group of Institutes staff and faculty can avail of up to 50% scholarship on tuition fees for the first year.

4. Loyalty Scholarship – The existing undergraduate students of Amrapali Group of Institutes can avail of a concession of 10% on tuition fees for the first year if they enroll in postgraduate courses.

5. Female Student Scholarship – A female candidate can avail of 10% of the scholarship on tuition fees for the first year during admission to Amrapali Group of Institutes.
