Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as MIET, was established in 2011 at Haldwani Uttarakhand by the Dev Bhoomi Foundation under the support of the MIET Group of Institutions Meerut. It is affiliated with Kumaun University, Nainital, Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Medical University, Dehradun, and Uttarakhand Open University, Haldwani.

The institute offers various UG and PG programs in different courses such as Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). It also offers specialised courses including advanced computer science, data science, management interdisciplinary studies etc.

MIET's faculty are highly qualified, with advanced degrees and many years of experience. The teaching facilities are designed in such a way that students get a strong academic foundation with regular updates to combine the latest advancements in technology and industry needs.

The first 140 seats are provided with a reasonable fee, so each candidate gains knowledge and skills in their preferred area of ​​interest and is also committed to helping students acquire education by offering various scholarship programs.
