Doon Business School is the foremost Institution in Northern India offering business management programs. The institution was established in 2007 in the valley of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The institution is affiliated with Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Sri Dev Suman University and Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University. The All India Council of Technical Education approves Doon Business School. In 2023, 'The Week' ranked Doon Business School as Uttarakhand's Number 1 Business School.

The international strategic alliances of the Doon Business School are with Victoria University of Australia and the Kriger Research Organisation of the USA. These alliances benefit in curriculum designing of the various programs and training of students. The institution also has a partnership with Microsoft Academic Alliance. 

Doon Business School has an MOU and collaboration with HEC-Canada & IIM-Rohtak for academic support. This collaboration results in –

  • Faculty and students of these institutions spend 6 to 12 weeks at DBS, which is suitable for providing multicultural and educational exposure to the students.

  • Faculty and students from DBS get an opportunity to visit the campus of these partners and experience intercultural exposure.

  • These collaborations provide many opportunities for joint research in common fields of interest.

  • DBS and these international partners develop the outline of international conferences in management and commerce.

The Doon Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Management, Mass Communication, Commerce, Computer Application, Agriculture and Allied Sciences, and Pharmacy. 

For admission to the MBA program, Doon Business School accepts the score obtained in MAT, CAT, CMAT and GMAT. The highest salary offered to DBS MBA students is INR 18 LPA, whereas the average is INR 5.5 LPA.

For admission to the MBA program, DBS prefers and accepts the national-level entrance test score, which further helps the candidate availing of the scholarships. These entrance examinations are –

Admission procedure of Doon Business School

Registration

  • Visit the admission office at the campus of Doon Business School.

  • Go to the concerned person for admission details.

  • Fill out the application form with the required information and attach the documents.

  • Collect the receipt at the counter after paying the registration fee of INR 750.

 

  • Go to the official website of the Doon Business School and go to the admission button.

  • Fill out the application form with your correct information and the course details you want to pursue.

  • Now attach the supporting documents like ID proof, mark sheet, a document supporting scholarship (if any), etc.

  • Complete the registration process after submitting the application fee of INR 750.

Entrance Test

To avail of the scholarship in the MBA program, candidates must appear and score well in the national-level management entrance examinations. For an MBA, Doon Business School accepts the scores of CAT, XAT, CMAT and MAT. Candidates must sit for these exams and score the percentile range asked by DBS to get the MBA merit-based scholarship on tuition fees for the first year.

These clubs organise various events, tournaments, competitions and fests around the year at the DBS campus.

4. Doon Business School believes in 'Learning by Empowering'. To execute this approach, DBS has formed many student committees. These committees are responsible for various tasks like cultural events, environmental awareness, cleanliness, discipline, etc. By doing so, students learn the basics of management and teamwork.

5. The main focus of Doon Business School is 'Outcome-based Learning'. For the smooth functioning of this methodology, brainstorming sessions and case study learning classes are organised periodically.

This scholarship is provided on the CUET score obtained by the candidate. DBS doesn’t disclose the percentage of scholarships offered under this category. Candidates can avail of only one scholarship among the CUET scholarship and the 12th merit-based scholarship.

DBS Uttarakhand Domicile Scholarship

A scholarship of 15% on tuition fees is offered to those candidates who hold Uttarakhand domicile.

DBS Defence Personnel Scholarship

A scholarship of 10% on tuition fees is granted to the wards of defence personnel.

DBS Teachers Scholarship

A scholarship of 10% on tuition fees is granted to the child of teachers.

Single Mother Scholarship

A scholarship of 10% on tuition fees is granted to the child of a single mother.
