Doon Business School [DBS] Admission 2024: Eligibility & Admission Process

Doon Business School is the foremost Institution in Northern India offering business management programs. The institution was established in 2007 in the valley of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The institution is affiliated with Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Sri Dev Suman University and Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University. The All India Council of Technical Education approves Doon Business School. In 2023, 'The Week' ranked Doon Business School as Uttarakhand's Number 1 Business School.

The international strategic alliances of the Doon Business School are with Victoria University of Australia and the Kriger Research Organisation of the USA. These alliances benefit in curriculum designing of the various programs and training of students. The institution also has a partnership with Microsoft Academic Alliance. 

Doon Business School has an MOU and collaboration with HEC-Canada & IIM-Rohtak for academic support. This collaboration results in –

For an MBA, Doon Business School accepts the scores of CAT, XAT, CMAT and MAT. Doon Business School UG Admission 2024

The undergraduate-level programs offered by Doon Business School are BBA, B.Com, B.Com (Hons), BSc Agriculture, BSc Forestry, BA (Hons) Mass Communication & Journalism, and BCA. 

There are 180 seats available at Doon Business School for each course. The duration of UG programs at DBS varies from 3 to 4 years, depending on the curriculum.

Doon Business School conducts group discussions and personal interview sessions for admission to UG-level courses. The candidates must appear in both to secure their seat in the course.

At the postgraduate level, DBS offers MSc Agriculture and MA Mass Communication courses. The duration of both courses is two years. 

For admission to these programs, the candidate must have completed a bachelor’s degree from any recognised university. Admission to MA Mass Communication and MSc Agriculture is offered based on the candidate’s performance in group discussions and personal interview rounds conducted by Doon Business School.

Doon Business School offers a full-time MBA program in five specialisations – Agribusiness Management, Business Analytics, Human Resource, Marketing, and Finance. Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University affiliates the MBA program of Doon Business School.

For admission to the MBA program of DBS, the candidate must have passed graduation with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Admission to the MBA program at DBS is granted based on scores in MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, or GMAT. 

The final merit list for MBA admission is prepared, including the weightage of graduation marks, entrance examination scores, group discussion scores, and personal interview marks.
