Quantum University is one of the leading private Universities in Uttarakhand. The University is located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Quantum University was first established as Quantum College in 2008. Later, the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly passed the Quantum University Act, 2016, and it was given the status of University in 2017. The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Bar Council of India, the Pharmacy Council of India, and the All India Council for Technical Education.

The reputation of Quantum University is distinguished in providing quality higher education. The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in specialisations like Engineering, Computer Applications, Management, Media Studies & Design, Commerce & Finance, Science, humanities & Social Science, Agricultural Studies, Health Sciences and Hospitality & Tourism. Initially, the University was known for its BTech and other technical programs, but currently, the University is focusing on various other fields and specialisations with excellent curriculum and faculty.

Entrance Exam Conducted by Quantum University

Quantum University conducts entrance tests for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The entrance test conducted by Quantum University is an entrance cum scholarship exam known as Q-Care. The Q-Care is held online across various cities. The exam is one hour long and includes multiple-choice questions only. The medium of Q-Care is English language only. The candidates are granted various scholarships based on their scores in Q-Care.

The university conducts four versions of Q-Care, which are Q-Care I, Q-Care-II, Q-Care-III and Q-Care IV, for admission to different courses.

• Q-Care I – This is conducted for those candidates who are opting for B.Tech (Hons) Collaborative Programs, B.Tech, integrated BTech+MBA, Diploma in Engineering, BCA, BSc (IT), BSc (Hons) - Physics, BSc (Hons)-Chemistry and BSc (Hons) – Mathematics.

• Q-Care-II – This is conducted for those candidates who are opting for B.Pharma, D.Pharma, BSc (Hons) – Agriculture, BSc (Hons) - Food Processing, BSc -Nutrition & Dietetics and BMRIT.

• Q-Care-III – This is conducted for those candidates who are opting for Candidates opting for BCom, BCom (Hons), BCom (Banking and Insurance), BBA, BA (Hons) English, BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) Psychology, BA (Hons) Journalism and Mass Communication, BA (Hons) – JEP (Journalism, English & Political Science), BSc – Animation and VFX, BSc- UI & Graphics Design, BHM, CHM, BA-LLB, BBA- LLB and integrated BBA+MBA.

• Q-Care IV – This is conducted for those candidates who are opting for Candidates opting for MBA program.

Entrance exams accepted by Quantum University

Admission procedure of Quantum University

Registration 

The registration procedure at Quantum University can be done through three different modes that are mentioned below in the table –

Entrance Test

Quantum University conducts the entrance exams for various programs known as Q-Care I, Q-Care-II, Q-Care-III and Q-Care IV. Merit is released by the University on the basis of Q-Care and other entrances (JEE, CUET, CAT, GATE, etc). Then, candidates are selected and called for a brief interview round at the University campus.

Note – The scholarships at Quantum University are provided on the basis of the score of these entrance tests.

Personal Interview/ Group Discussion

A small, brief interview round is held at the University campus for certain programs. Sometimes, university administration also conducts document verification during this process.

Quantum University BTech and BTech Hons Admission

Quantum University offers four-year BTech and BTech Hons programs at the undergraduate level. Quantum University offers multiple specializations in BTech and BTech Hons degree programs. Quantum University MTech Admission

Quantum University grants two-year MTech degrees in various specializations at the postgraduate level. The MTech selection process at Quantum University includes the entrance test. The university considers the GATE score for admission to the course.

Quantum University UG Admission

Quantum University offers a wide range of courses at the undergraduate level to cater to the educational needs of a large student demographic.
