NCVT MIS
The National Council of Vocational Training has its own Management Information System, which is known as NCVT MIS. This management information system helps students by providing them with all the information related to the Polytechnic Diploma course.
NCVT MIS is a computerized database of student enrolment numbers, colleges, courses, results, and certification training offered by NCVT. Currently, around 15,000 ITI colleges are working under NCVT.

SCVT is the State Council of Vocational Training, which is similar to NCVT but is a responsible organization for ITI courses in each state.

Students can convert their SCVT certificate to NCVT certificate, for which they have to follow the following steps: -

First, enroll in any ITI institute.

After a year, if you pass the All India Trade Test (AITT), you will then be awarded a National Trade Certificate (NTC) by NCVT.

After the completion of a year of apprenticeship, you will be further awarded a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT by passing AITT.
Eligibility Criteria for NCVT
The eligibility criteria to pursue any program under the National Council of Vocational Training are mentioned below –

Candidate must have completed 10th or 10+2 to pursue any program under NCVT.

Aspirant must be Indian and hold an NCA/ NTC certificate from any recognised institution of technical education.
Entrance Examination for NCVT
There are two entrance examinations to join any program offered under the National Council of Vocational Training. They are as follows –

All India Training Test (AITT) – This entrance test is conducted by DGT for various schemes under the National Council of Vocational Training. AITT under the Craftsmen Training Scheme is held twice a year.
More than 20 lakh aspirants appear in this examination which includes trainees of NCVT and other eligible aspirants. All information regarding the test, like hall ticket, result, marksheet & certificate issuance, is done through the NCVT MIS portal.

NVCT CTI Exam – NVCT CTI exam is online based test conducted by the All India Common Entrance Test. The exam is organised in September every year.
To appear in the NCVT CTI Exam, the candidate must hold an NCA/NTC degree or diploma.
Admission Procedure of NCVT
To pursue the NCVT course, follow the steps given below –

Appear for the AITT or NCVT CTI Exam and clear it with a good score.

Go to the college website and register yourself.

Now login admission portal, fill out the application form, and pay the application fee.

Submit your AITT or NCVT CTI Exam score. You will be selected based on your score in the entrance test.

Few colleges may interview before the final selection.

Finally, pay the admission fee of the program.

Visit the official website of NCVT MIS, then click on the ‘Apprentice’ option.

Select the ‘Registration’ option. It will redirect you to the application page.

Fill out the application form. The information required in the application form is Personal information, contact information/address, qualification, technical qualification (if any), preference for trade, passport size photo, and birth certificate.

Submit the application form by clicking on the ‘Submit’ button.

You will receive your registration number through email or SMS.
